Trimble and B2W Software to Highlight Technology Integration at World of Asphalt
Trimble and B2W Software, a Trimble company, will demonstrate new developments for machine control and for managing field operations, equipment maintenance and estimating at World of Asphalt March 25-27 in Nashville, Tennessee. The company will also highlight unique opportunities for asphalt paving contractors to connect workflows and utilize data at the Trimble/B2W booth (#1806).
Trimble acquired B2W Software in 2022. An integrated portfolio includes solutions for financial and project management, takeoff, estimating, modeling and design and machine control as well as performance tracking, scheduling, dispatching and equipment maintenance.
Trimble will highlight its newly-released Trimble Roadworks Paving Control Platform for Mills and Cold Planers at the show. This technology extends the functionality of Trimble’s next-generation, 3D paving control system, enabling operators to precisely control cutting depth of the mill or cold planer according to project design. Visitors to the booth can also learn more about Trimble Roadworks for Asphalt Paving, intelligent compaction, machine control and other jobsite solutions.
New B2W developments include platform-wide alert and notification capabilities that allow immediate, automated communication and a new dashboard that simplifies tracking and reporting on equipment maintenance activities.
Enhancements - including clock in/out, time stamping and location validation - have been added to the B2W Employee App for tracking hours and activity of individual employees. B2W has also added the flexibility of a monthly subscription pricing option for cloud or on-premise deployment of its applications.
