Job Description

We have an opening for a product validation/quality assurance testing engineer to join our Engineering team. The ideal candidate will have formal exposure to QA processes, exposure to mobile testing applications, and an understanding of SQL server queries.

 

Primary Responsibilities

• Execute test cases based on acceptance criteria documented in JIRA against one or more products, and document findings in JIRA
  • Products include: SSRS reports, ActiveReports reports, Data transfer modules (add-ins)
• Review JIRA items for completeness of test cases and acceptance criteria

 

Qualifications & Requirements

• Good understanding of JIRA workflows (Kanban, Agile)
• Working knowledge of testing process/methodology
• Detail oriented without getting bogged down
• Excellent written and communication skills
• Testing of web-based and desktop products in the Microsoft technology space
• Minimum of two years experience in a similar role

Physical Requirements

This job operates in a professional office environment. While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be largely sedentary and will be required to sit/stand for long periods while using a computer and telephone headset. The employee will be regularly required to operate a computer and other office equipment, including a phone, copier, and printer. The employee may occasionally be required to move about the office to accomplish tasks; reach in any direction; raise or lower objects, move objects from place to place, hold onto objects, and move or exert force up to forty (40) pounds.
