Marketing Programs & Events Manager

Reporting to the Vice President of Marketing, B2W Software’s Marketing Programs & Events Manager is responsible for the successful planning, development, hands-on execution and measurement of highly integrated marketing campaigns and brand experiences, including industry conferences, trade shows and Webcasts, national/regional/local association membership and engagements, face-to-face user communities, and other initiatives to ensure customer growth and affinity.

 

Responsibilities

Industry Conferences/Events & User Experiences

  • Manage all aspects of trade show operations and field marketing events, including budgeting, theme development and related agreements, logistics coordination, staffing and pre-/post- and at-show promotions
  • Set event lead targets and oversee the timely entry, attribution and analysis of campaign-level leads from trade shows, webcasts and other programs
  • Manage outside vendors including venues, trade show & event resources, consultants and software, as well as agency/technical resources as needed to execute successful experiential programs
  • With guidance and support from product management, marketing and sales, provide direction to internal Creative Services and/or other third-party service providers on graphics, booth designs and product demo experiences

 

Demand Generation Programs

  • Working with the Digital Marketing Manager, drive the development, coordination and promotion of national and territory-driven demand generations programs as assigned, including Webcasts/podcasts and direct mail in support of specific business goals; recommend SMEs and related promotions
  • Support the research, creation and maintenance of segmentation lists in Salesforce.com
  • Working with the field sales team and executives, oversee B2W’s industry association memberships at the national, regional and local level, including marketing plans and programs to ensure maximum visibility and value; identify opportunities for company executives and B2W domain experts to participate on working committees and panels
  • Create and contribute to positive brand experiences for new and existing customers, partners, employees, prospects and the local community, including targeted events (dinners, happy hours, golf, etc.) and welcome kits/communications
  • Assist with the planning and promotion of the company’s philanthropic and HR/recruiting initiatives as required

 

Annual User Conference

  • Coordinate the cross-functional planning and execution of the annual B2W User Conference, including site selection, contract preparation, meeting space, room rates, food & beverage, resort fees, agenda and promotions to ensure the highest level of registrations and user engagement

 

Sales & Marketing Operations Support

  • Own, update and communicate B2W’s annual programs and events calendar in Asana; conduct industry research to ensure alignment of program goals
  • Develop and track detailed program budgets; establish closed-loop analytics to understand how experiential and other program activity turns prospects into customers; continually refine and improve processes and investments
  • Research and procure branded promotional items; oversee collateral inventories and requests
  • Direct daily activities of marketing assistant and interns

Job requirements

  • Creative, results-oriented marketer with a passion for building world-class brands
  • Outstanding program management and organizational skills; exceptionally detail oriented
  • Experience managing a multi-faceted events program, including User Conferences, trade shows and Webcasts
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently under deadline, managing and executing multiple projects simultaneously
  • Effective communication and writing skills; ability and confidence to interact positively and productively with outside vendors and team members at all levels of the company
  • Proficiency with data analytics and systems, including Salesforce.com and other sales/marketing stack technologies
  • Willingness to travel (10-15%) and represent the company at industry events
  • BA/BS in marketing, communications, business or related field preferred.
